IP SYSTEM®, with its special waterproof mechanical plug-in system, makes it possible to flexibly illuminate any space requiring diffused linear light effects combined with accent lighting, while maintaining a high degree of protection on all elements of the system. The freedom of design and the possibility of modifying the configuration of the system over time make it a unique lighting tool that acts as a line of connection between interior and exterior, a true new alphabet for writing with light in space.
IP SYSTEM®, launched for the first time during LIGHT+BUILDING 2022, is now also in production in new and interesting variants. The suspended version offers the possibility of anchoring the system to ceilings, porches, pergolas by means of adjustable steel cables and adds the component of indirect and diffused light to the system, even towards the ceiling.
The recessed version for plasterboard, also shown on the stand in combination with the special black shielding diffuser that allows the lighting rod to be completely black when OFF and to create a light effect that is shielded by around 50% when the lighting rod is ON.
The new FINGER suspended plug-in and the new FLOWER 35 and FLOWER ZOOM 60 COMFORT versions with honeycomb optic complete the plug-in product range. However, the absolute novelty presented at the fair is a further evolution of FLOWER ZOOM 60 IN FLOWER ZOOM 60 INDIVIDUAL CONTROL: via DALI interface, each element can be individually controlled and managed both in terms of switching on and off, and in terms of flow regulation.
ZIP DIGITAL BEAM, the digital version of Simes' historic underground walkover product, opens an important new topic for discussion with great potential for future product development. Previewed on the Euroluce stand, ZIP DIGITAL BEAM allows for digital control of the beam opening by means of a liquid crystal polarisation controlled via the DALI communication protocol.
FEELING, presented in all its versions (wall applique, floor-standing and garden stake) represents with ingenious elegance a family with great aesthetic impact. Its slender footprint, the attention to detail and the double-rotation movement on the central pivot of the wall-mounted version represent the successful elements of a decorative and minimalist family that fascinated and intrigued the visitors of the Salone.
In the line of this new decorative trend, the BELL family with its elegant design and bronze inserts could not be missing, enriching the architecture with precious material details and illuminating even the most classic rooms with an elegant, softly shaped lamp.
Finally, GHOST, one of the company's best-known and most iconic products, the result of the ingenious intuition of transforming a luminous recess within a concrete casting into an industrial product, continues to enjoy enormous success among designers who want to make light the true protagonist of architecture.
Among the numerous collections that have become part the Simes portfolio in the last two years, FLOWER and PIVOT spotlights have stood out for their flexibility and elegance suitable for integration into the natural and architectural context.
BETWEEN and APPLY bollard enrich the solutions available to the designers to easily adjust on site the direction of the beam. APPLY wall mounted best expresses the increasingly established trend of the use of comfort optics to improve visual well-being and quality of light.
