With the new Bronze collection, SIMES introduces a family of outdoor products in which light emerges from a dialogue with the material. The design places at its core a noble, authentic, and enduring material, capable of expressing both technical solidity and aesthetic value.
Beauty born from material
Bronze, a precious material valued for its strength and its ability to evolve over time, becomes the heart of this collection of compact, refined fixtures, where light is more than a function but a presence that integrates with architecture and landscape.
Over the years, the surface develops a natural patina, slowly transforming and gaining character. Each product becomes part of the space it illuminates, establishing an increasingly deep relationship with the architecture and landscape that surround it.
The Bronze collection features a recessed light source, shielded by honeycomb filters, a choice that eliminates glare and refines beam control. The technology remains invisible, giving way to a warm, soft emission capable of shaping surfaces and volumes with natural ease. The result is a discreet and measured light that accompanies architecture without imposing itself, enhancing space through balance and depth.
BRAL: a bronze engineered for outdoor use
The material at the core of the collection is BRAL, a bronze–aluminum alloy selected for its high performance in outdoor environments. This alloy ensures excellent corrosion resistance even in particularly demanding conditions, such as coastal areas, humid environments, or contexts subject to strong climatic variations, making it ideal for products designed to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic quality over time.
All fixtures of the Bronze collection are machined from solid stock: each luminaire is crafted from a solid cylinder of material, precision-turned to achieve compact, robust forms that enhance the materiality of bronze while ensuring strength and long-term durability.
At the same time, BRAL preserves the nobility of bronze: its surface naturally reacts to the environment, developing a protective patina that evolves over time, enriching its appearance and making each piece unique and valuable. It is a living material, one that matures alongside architecture, embracing and expressing the marks of time.
A coherent language for every space
The Bronze Collection is designed to adapt to a variety of architectural and landscape contexts. The family includes different types of fixtures, conceived to suit a range of applications while maintaining the same formal language and construction quality.
Appliques, casting grazing light across surfaces; downlights, for lighting seamlessly integrated into architecture; adjustable spotlights and garden stake, for illuminating trees and green spaces; step lights and in-ground fixtures, for enhancing pathways and access points. Each version approaches material and light in a consistent way, making it possible to create lighting schemes with a unified language, from detail to overall vision.
Not individual fixtures, but design tools created to build atmospheres.
Applique
Bronze in Applique version enhances architectural surfaces with precise, controlled light. Available in single or double emission configurations with a 40 mm diameter, it allows for different lighting effects: downward-directed light for discreet illumination, or opposing beams that elegantly trace the façade.
The compact body highlights the material, while the recessed optics reduce glare and ensure visual comfort. It is an ideal solution for entrances, façades, porticos, and pathways along buildings.

Spotlight and Garden Stake
The Spotlight and Garden Stake versions, with a 40 mm diameter body, are designed for targeted lighting of architectural and natural elements, offering versatile solutions for outdoor lighting.
The Spotlight allows precise adjustment of the light beam to highlight façades, trees, sculptures, or landscape details. Its adjustable body makes it possible to direct the light exactly where needed, while maintaining a compact and essential design that enhances the material presence of bronze.
The Garden Stake is designed to be inserted directly into the ground. Installed among vegetation, in landscaped areas, or along pathways, it enables discreet illumination of natural elements with ease of installation.

Downlight
The Downlight version interprets overhead light with a minimal aesthetic. Available in surface-mounted, recessed, and semi-recessed configurations, it adapts to different architectural solutions while maintaining compact dimensions and a clean design.
The light is directed downward in a controlled way, ensuring visual comfort and uniform illumination. In contact with the bronze surface, it diffuses softly, helping to warm the space and enhance its material quality. It is particularly suited for porticoes, outdoor ceilings, loggias, and passage areas.

Inground and Steplight
The Inground and Steplight versions, both recessed, interpret light as a tool for orientation and shaping the space, each with a specific function while remaining within a consistent design language.
The Inground fixtures, available in Ø40 mm and Ø60 mm, are installed in the ground and project light upward to illuminate façades, columns, and trees, creating depth and rhythm in the space. Discreet during the day, they integrate seamlessly into the paving, while at night they emerge through their lighting effect, maintaining a robust structure suitable for exposed outdoor environments.
The Steplights, available in Ø40 mm and Ø60 mm, provide a soft, controlled light that guides movement and defines paths, steps, and corridors without glare. The grazing light guides the eye and makes spaces more legible and safe, while enhancing the architecture. Compact and material-driven, they maintain the same formal clarity as the rest of the collection.

A presence meant to last
In a context shaped by the speed of technological innovation, the Bronze Collection proposes an alternative vision: a light that does not simply adapt to space, but is designed to last and evolve with it. Here, material takes center stage.
Bronze enters into a relationship with architecture, evolving over time and accompanying its transformations naturally. It is not just lighting, but a luminous presence that takes root in a place, helping to define its identity and character over time.
