Flexibility
The 2024 product innovations cover a wide range of applications, but are linked by an important constant that can be summed up by the term FLEXIBILITY.
Interchangeable beam shaping filters, digital beam, adjustable optics, modularity, are just some of the concepts that have guided the development of 4 new families that are capable of interpreting the direction that Simes has chosen.
Shift
With its aesthetic and functional elegance, represents the union of the adjustable projector with the urban element of the pole. Light only where it is needed, thanks to stackable and fully adjustable heads.
Pointer
A spot and superspot projector equipped with a wide range of filters and beam shaping accessories. Also available in a DIGITAL BEAM version, it incorporates the best technology available for a professional projector.
Tratto
A linear and adjustable cascading projector for continuous and uniform wall-washer effects. Also available in a 5 channel RGB+WW version.
In the field of RGB, but especially in the field of white control, the colour of light has become an issue closely linked to well-being, respect for the environment and biological rhythms.
Offering Tunable White solutions is no longer the prerogative of the interior, but is becoming increasingly important in the outdoor environment, where the dynamics of systems exposed to incorrect lighting can have serious repercussions.

Lighting control and management
The awareness of the need to provide light where and how it is needed, by dimming the amount of light and controlling its activation dynamically, in time and space, saves energy and improves visual comfort.
In order to respond to this cultural change, luminaires can no longer be limited to a simple ON-OFF control, but must be adapted to integrate a DALI power supply, i.e. a controller that not only regulates their switching on and off, but also the amount of light emitted.
SIMES has responded to this growing sensitivity by first investing in a major technological shift towards the remote management of individual luminaires and now revolutionising its design approach by developing customised digital solutions.
Luminaire efficiency
With the advent of LEDs in the 2000s, the lighting market experienced an epochal revolution, both in the way a lighting product is conceived and in the way it relates to its context.
After replacing traditional light sources and offering accurate colour reproduction and performance, their technological rise has never stopped. Today, the latest generation of LEDs is so powerful that it far exceeds the actual illuminance required at a visual and design level.
This is why Simes has chosen to go down the road of VISUAL COMFORT, maintaining adequate fluxes and illuminance levels, but increasing the EFFICIENCY of the LIGHTING EQUIPMENT wherever possible.
By reducing the wattage, it is possible to reduce the amount of energy required to produce the same amount of light. This saves energy and extends the life of the LEDs, which are subjected to less stress.
Again, the source upgrade will affect many of the families in the Simes catalogue. All these innovations fully exploit the potential of the new LEDs to offer powerful, precise and efficient solutions.
